    We verify references, pet history, and landlord approval for a safe placement.

    Meet the dogs that fit your home — bring everyone who lives there.

    Logistics

    A short call about supplies, training, and the first two weeks at home.

    Welcome home

    Sign the agreement, pay the fee, and take your dog home with full records.

Adoption questions

How does the adoption process work?

Five steps: apply, pass a background check, attend a meet-and-greet with the dogs that fit your home, have a logistics call about supplies and the first two weeks, then sign the agreement and welcome your dog home. Most adoptions close within seven to ten days.

What is the adoption fee?

Fees range from $250 to $450 and cover spay or neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and any medical care the dog received while in our program.

Do you adopt outside of Southern California?

We place dogs within a two-hour drive of Los Angeles so that our team can offer post-adoption support in person.

What if the adoption does not work out?

Every Pawsible Project dog can come back to us at any point in their life, no questions asked and no judgment attached.
