Foster

Open your home for a few weeks. Change a life permanently.

Foster families are the reason we can say yes when a shelter calls. We handle the vet care, the supplies, and the adoption matching — you handle the couch.

Ways to foster

Emergency intake

A safe place to land right after a rescue or shelter pull.

Medical recovery

Post-surgery or heartworm treatment care with our vet team guiding every step.

Puppy litters

Socialization and house-manners work for pups too young to be adopted.

Behavioral decompression

A quiet, structured home for shy or under-socialized dogs learning to trust people and the world again.

Long-stay adults

Steady homes for dogs who need extra time to decompress and find their person.

Senior dogs

A calm, patient home for gentle older dogs who just want a soft bed and a quiet routine while we search for their forever family.

Fostering questions

What does fostering cost me?

Nothing. We provide food, crates, bedding, medication, and all veterinary care. You provide the space and the patience.

How long is a typical foster stay?

Most stays run two to eight weeks. Medical recovery cases and puppy litters can be shorter or longer, and we always tell you up front.

Can I foster in an apartment?

Yes. We match dogs to homes, not square footage. Many of our calmest dogs thrive in apartments with a daily walk routine.
