Some of our volunteers give four hours a month. Some drive to Bakersfield at 6am. Both keep dogs alive.

Volunteer roles

Weekend shifts in LA and Pasadena: handling dogs, greeting adopters, and setup.

Shelter pulls, vet runs, and airport handoffs. A car and a valid license is all you need.

Weekday walks for dogs in boarding while we search for their foster home.

Portrait sessions and short videos that get dogs seen and adopted faster.

Remote role: read adoption and foster applications and run reference calls.

Help with donor mail, grant research, and community fundraising events.

Rescue partners

Discounted spay/neuter, dental, and orthopedic care for dogs in our program.

Force-free support for reactive dogs and post-adoption coaching.

Short-term space when a foster home is not immediately available.

Host a donation drive, sponsor a medical case, or match employee giving.
